“I don’t think this is even a choice about Democrats or Republicans; it’s a choice between sanity and chaos,” says Julie Erfle, an Arizona-based consultant. “It is not hyperbolic to say that democracy is on the ballot in 2022, and that the outcome of these elections will determine the future of free and fair elections in our country.”
